The Role:
We are looking for a customer focused security officer who shares our passion and wants to be part of a growing organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors by monitoring and enforcing security measures and responding to incidents or emergencies promptly.
Responsibilities:
- To provide excellent customer services to both staff and visitors.
- Control access and egress.
- Based either in reception or one of 2 floors directing visitors to correct locations, advising on appointment booking process to visitors without prior appointments.
- Responding to all incidents, assisting in emergencies and evacuations.
- Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence.
Skills:
- Good customer service skills.
- Good communication skills with internal and external clients.
- Capable of dealing with a variety of situations and very customer service-focused.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Well-presented at all times.
Licence Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor/Manned Guarding is essential.
- Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.
Interview Requirements:
Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
Job Requirements:
You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
