Busy pubs, bars, beer gardens and hospitality venues across Newcastle are preparing for one of the busiest summers of live sport in years - and Professional Security is recruiting now. We are looking for SIA Door Supervisors to support venues showing live World Cup fixtures throughout the tournament period from 11 June - 19 July. With packed venues, increased footfall and major matches attracting large crowds, extra security staff are needed across Newcastle city centre and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for experienced Door Supervisors looking for flexible shifts throughout the summer period.
About the Door Supervisor Role
- As a Door Supervisor during the World Cup period, you'll help venues create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for customers watching live matches.
- Managing venue entrances and customer flow
- Supporting busy matchday crowds
- Working with venue teams during peak trading periods
- Monitoring beer gardens, bar areas and event spaces
- Checking IDs and supporting venue policies
- Helping prevent issues before they elevate
- Responding calmly and professionally to incidents
- Completing reports where required
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Professional, confident and customer-focused approach
- Experience in hospitality, nightlife, events or security
- Reliability and strong teamwork
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and matchday shifts
- Ability to pass BS7858 security vetting
