Position Scope
To carry out golf course maintenance duties, as directed, ensuring that the courses are at all times presented in the best possible condition. Assisting with all main duties during high season of golf. Working outdoors isn't just a job, it's a boost for your wellbeing. Job Functions
- Cutting all playing surfaces, set up the golf course, raking bunkers.
- Construction, aeration and turfing work/duties, as directed.
- To operate grass cutting machinery safely and effectively; care and maintenance of machinery and the reporting of loss or damage to Workshop Manager.
- Job rotation of all main duties during the high season of golf.
- Understand Trump Turnberry policy on Health and Safety and to ensure that all duties performed are carried out with full regard to the safety of customers, visitors, contractors and other employees; work within the Health & Safety, COSHH, Risk Assessment and HAVS Assessment guidelines at all times.
- To accept training and instruction to further skill set.
- Maintaining high standards of customer care at all times.
- Any other duties that may be required on the golf courses or around the estate.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
- Basic knowledge of Golf is desired.
- Evidence of working outside throughout all seasons, preferably on a golf course is advantageous.
- Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. The length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch along with the use of manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- A driving license is desirable but not essential.
- The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be a team player with the ability to understand and carry out instruction.
