We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a school administrator. This individual will work primarily in the attendance support room (ASR) alongside two other colleagues, each with their own area of specialism and as part of the wider Administration team. The position is critical in helping the school to continue to provide a welcoming environment for our students and to support first aid and health care provision.
Responsibilities:
- Work pro actively to ensure a fair and rigorous approach across the school and demonstrate a commitment to improving attendance.
- Support student welfare, maintaining positive relationships between students, staff and parents.
- Collaborate within the Administration team, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the school's administration.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate: an excellent administrator with an ability to support student welfare and a positive interest in developing relationships between students, staff and parents.
Hours and Salary:
30 hours per week, 5 days a week, 38 weeks per year term time plus 5 staff learning days (39 weeks per year). Typical core hours are 08:30 am to 02:30 pm Monday to Friday. Salary is Band E: £25,583 to £26,403 per annum, paid pro rata to the hours and weeks worked. Actual salary is calculated at £17,970 to £18,546, starting based on experience, continuous service and qualifications.
