A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking multiple Sample Receipt Technicians to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment.
Role Overview
- Receive, record, weigh, split and extract samples in preparation for analysis.
- Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025.
Temporary, Full‑time (39 hours per week), usually Monday‑Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Shifts may also be required Tuesday‑Saturday, earliest start time 6:30 AM, latest finish time 9:00 PM. Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends. Opportunities to go permanent and progress. Start Date ASAP.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
- Experience working in a production or laboratory or similar high‑pace environment highly beneficial.
- Graduates of scientific disciplines encouraged to apply.
- Must be available to begin immediately in Burton on Trent.
