Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Install, maintain and repair complex electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including large molding press, robots, assembly fixtures, drill fixtures, paint/finish equipment, conveyors, and general plant facility equipment.

Install electronic‑automation equipment and control systems.

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical equipment.

Make operating decisions to meet department objectives.

Conduct preventive maintenance programs.

Participate in training programs.

Comply with and support the environmental, health and safety system requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
  • Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, percent; draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e‑mail); familiarity with database software.
  • Experience: Use hand‑held tools, machinery and instruments; perform basic maintenance tasks (plumbing, painting, greasing, oiling, grinding, drilling); weld, cut with gas torches; troubleshoot machine controls; use standard machine tools (lathes, saws, mills, drill presses); follow maintenance procedures; manage documentation.
  • Knowledgeable in hydraulic, pneumatic controls, materials and components; operate, set, adjust machinery; install conduit, pipe, regulators, hoses.

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred). One to three years of related formal training or work experience required. Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school desired.

Physical Requirements

  • Exposure to machines, chemicals, solvents.
