Applications are invited for a full time Band A Dental Officer based within the Dental & Maxillofacial Department at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, Surrey. This role is part of the Community Dental Service, delivering specialist dental care for patients unable to access general services due to physical, medical, mental health or social needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of dental care to patients with additional and complex needs, including children and adults with learning disabilities, medically compromising conditions, and mental health conditions. The role also involves providing domiciliary dental care and requires the ability to travel with a valid driving licence.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide clinical dental services to children, adults and older people with complex needs.
  • Deliver treatment under local and inhalation sedation.
  • Provide domiciliary dental care, traveling to patients' homes as required.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to professional standards.
