Marston Forest Healthcare is a vibrant and successful practice in Bedfordshire with a clinical team including nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, MH link worker, and other staff members. We are offering a superb opportunity to join a well-established, innovative practice and we have a vacancy for a salaried GP, working three sessions per week. The surgery has a great reputation for patient care and aims to provide a supportive environment for the development of all GPs. There is a strong sense of team within the practice and they all work together and participate in team activities making this truly enjoyable place to work.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will be a General Practitioner registered with the GMC and on the NHS Performers list. Experience within a Primary Care setting would be ideal but not essential. The candidate should be confident in completing face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, home visits and on-call duties, demonstrating clear and effective communication to support colleagues in delivering an outstanding patient experience. Evidence of delivering a high level of care to patients will be vital in supporting the business in achieving its objectives.
About us
We have recently refurbished the Practice at our Marston Moretaine site, increasing our clinical room capacity and administration offices. This will enable us to become a GP Training Practice and broaden the services we offer. We carefully manage the workload of our GPs to ensure they work in a safe and caring environment, supported by an MDT approach model of working. We are a tier 2 registered organisation, so welcome applications from individuals that require a Tier 2 visa.
