Production operators required with current RTITB FLT licence. New opportunities are available for Production operatives with a current RTITB FLT counterbalance licence that is in date. Based in Runcorn, Whitehouse industrial estate. The operation combines production and warehouse duties.

If you have SAP knowledge, even better. The role is working for the famous Guinness brand and will contribute to the overall growth of this great company. The role will initially be for 3 - 6 months and could extend, dependent on the individual showcasing a strong work ethic and having a fully flexible approach. Attendance and punctuality are key to success in this role; there is a chance of ongoing work for our business.

Shifts are 12 hours per day, all breaks are paid for. The days of work can be from Monday to Sunday, with shift times from 7am to 7pm. Hours are usually a minimum of 4 days per week, with extra hours allocated. 4 days would be 48 hours pay and 5 days 60 hours. All production Operators start on £13.45 PH; once training has been signed off, you will be paid FLEX £20.95. This can take 6-12 weeks but is usually within 6 weeks of starting. Overtime rates are OT Flex £27.86, OT 1 £30.64, and OT 2 £35.36.

The site is open 7 days a week, and the shift patterns will be a mixture of days and nights. You will be required to work a mixture of nights and days as 12-hour shifts.

Role / skills:

  • Preferably has previous FMCG experience but not essential or at least 2 years plus production experience.
  • A good awareness of health and safety practices in a busy production environment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the work area.
  • Take ownership for the machine you are running, follow the compliance procedure to meet SLA, and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and rectify any errors within quality.
  • An eye for spotting issues on your designated machine to call for support in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of SAP but not essential.
  • Current counterbalance RTITB FLT Licence.
  • Operating a FLT counterbalance truck efficiently and safely.
