THE POSITION
Support the store team in delivering the best experience by managing the operational side of the business - from receiving products in our store, through inventory management, to delivering goods to customers' homes or workplaces.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all stock arriving in the shop and warehouses is accounted for accurately.
- Tracking shipments and overseeing inventory audits.
- Maintaining organised stock rooms and correct product pricing.
- Coordinating deliveries to customers and resolving any issues.
- Communicating with customers, service providers and internal team members.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve inventory related issues.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing stock counts, reconciliations and data entry tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes.
- Good numerical and mathematical skills for inventory calculations.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting and moving heavy items.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with customers and team members at all levels.
- Interest in music and musical equipment is a bonus but not essential.
