Location: Thetford

Working hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday with Saturday on a rota.

Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated Retail Branch Manager to lead the team at our busy branch in Thetford. Our store, located on the London Road Trade Park, has been serving the local community for over 12 years and is well known for being the first choice for decorating materials in the area. We stock an impressive range of trade and designer paints, wallpapers and all the decorating accessories and equipment our customers need for their projects. Our friendly and experienced team are always on hand to offer product advice. Store opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role.
  • Develop a team.
  • Achieve sales targets and generate new business.
  • Be enthusiastic and proactive about selling and inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service.
  • Understand our focus on customer service and other Brewers values.
  • Positively represent the Company to a wide range of customers.
  • Work on your own initiative.
  • Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive excellence.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
  • Previous experience in the Decorative Industry would be an advantage, though training will be given to the right candidate.
  • Approachable, open and friendly personality - happy to help customers and colleagues.
  • Enjoys working and supporting a team, while being reliable as an individual.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
  • Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry.
  • Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall.
