About St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home:

St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities as an Activity Co ordinator:

  • Plan and organise activities.
  • Good time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and enthusiastic.
  • Be an Ambassador for the Company both inside and outside of the home.
  • Contribute to our residents' well being through thoughtful, personalised activities.
  • Provide support for residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges.
  • Ensure the activity calendar is uploaded to Facebook each week.
  • Encourage and involve team members, relatives and friends in the home's activities.

Role Requirements as an Activity Co ordinator:

  • At least two years' relevant experience as an Activity Co ordinator providing activities in a care home or similar environment.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities; or must agree to contractually sign up to work towards one.
  • Must be able to work 35 hours minimum per week including 2 weekend days every four weeks.
  • Live within 20 minutes of the Home.
