We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Sales & Marketing Team at The Lanesborough. Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room, and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.

As a Reservations Agent, you will provide an exceptional guest service experience dealing with requests and queries in a professional and efficient manner. You will be responsible for taking and managing reservations via email, telephone, and other methods of communication. You will be an excellent communicator, with an eye for detail, and take a hands-on approach to your role. You will be a great team player with a real passion for exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience for our guests. As Reservations Agent, you will handle all room and restaurant enquiries and complaints in a courteous and effective manner, following through to ensure all issues are rectified to the guest's full satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within Front Office in a 4 or 5 establishment is essential; experience in the luxury London market would be preferred.
  • Previous experience in reservation would be preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English language; a second language would be preferred.
  • Immaculate grooming standards.
  • Show drive for excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work on own initiative is essential.
  • Be available and flexible on different shift patterns.
  • Knowledge of Opera system would be preferred.
