Role Overview
The Research Scientist will be a key member of DIVERSE-CDT, providing a supportive presence in a collaborative research environment. You will be reactive—helping doctoral students in all aspects of research as needs emerge—and proactive—identifying and nurturing students who require close support, offering guidance and helping those without prior research background to scaffold their learning. This role is key to the success of the Centre for Doctoral Training, providing a rich and supportive scientific learning environment for all.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant PhD.
- Published in major journals or venues in visualisation.
- Skills and experience in data preparation, analysis, design and visualisation.
- Experience developing and implementing reliable research methods that generate plausible results across a range of methodologies.
- Critical and reflective approach.
- Proven capability to support and mentor doctoral researchers.
