This is an outstanding opportunity for a Research Associate, with a background in the biomedical sciences, to work within the IMPRESS2 programme group under the supervision of Prof Richard Edmondson and Dr Glen Martin.

The post holder will be part of both the gynae cancer research group and the centre for Health Data Science, which is based on the Oxford Rd Campus. The candidate will support the aims of IMPRESS2 funded by NIHR. This innovative project will study the effects of a complex intervention designed to improve decision making in ovarian cancer.

This post specifically aims to use the large datasets generated in this programme to develop new methods for predicting outcomes for patients with this disease. This position offers an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic, well motivated individual to work as part of a sociable, national, multi-disciplinary team with partners based in Manchester, Newcastle and London.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. Experience of cancer pathways and an ability to handle large datasets is essential for the position.
