Allstaff Logistics Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Export Logistics & Customer Service Executive for a well-established company based near Renfrew. Due to the location, it is advantageous to drive with own transport. The hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 5 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4 pm (45 min lunch).
Key Responsibilities – Export Logistics
- Coordinate international shipments via air, sea, and road freight
- Prepare and process export documentation including:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Bills of lading
- Export declarations
- Certificates of origin
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping agents, and carriers
- Track shipments and provide regular delivery updates
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and customs requirements
- Resolve shipping delays, customs issues, and transportation queries
- Maintain accurate shipment and logistics records
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide order status updates and delivery information
- Support the sales team with quotations, order processing, and account administration
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Assist with returns, credit requests, and after sales support
- Maintain customer records within ERP/CRM systems
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in export logistics, customer service, or sales support
- Minimum 24 months' experience within export logistics, customer service, or sales support
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and Incoterms
- Familiarity with export documentation and customs processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems
- Customer focused and commercially aware
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with courier platforms such as DHL, UPS, Royal Mail, or FedEx
- Understanding of international cosmetic shipping restrictions
