As a Regional Planner, you'll shape and execute the product range strategy across our U.S. store portfolio. Your focus will be tailoring ranges to state and store needs, balancing commercial performance with customer demand. Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Design teams, you'll influence product selection, grading, and depth to align with local trends, seasonality, and regional preferences. This role demands strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders. You'll monitor regional performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide insights to drive in-season trading and future planning. Collaboration is key—you’ll synthesize input from multiple teams and maintain close alignment with Product teams, requiring regular onsite presence at Arthur Ryan House and travel to the U.S. Your work will ensure global strategies align with U.S. priorities, optimizing ranges and profitability across the network.

What You'll Do

  • Shape and deliver U.S. specific product ranges through deep collaboration with BMD teams, informed by grading, sizing analysis, and market insights.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre‑season and in‑season analysis—including climate, location, customer profile, and competitor pricing—to guide range tailoring and commercial decisions.
  • Build category structures from store to country level, leading U.S. grading, option planning, and department‑level budget inputs.
  • Monitor regional sales performance to identify growth opportunities, optimise underperforming categories, and recommend in‑season and future buy adjustments.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Space Planning, Buying, Merchandising, Design, Retail, and Planning to ensure optimal space allocation, product relevance, and strategic alignment.
  • Deliver clear, insight‑led reporting and presentations, acting as the key connector between U.S. Retail and BMD teams to translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance profitability and market fit.

  • Highly analytical with expertise in grading, range building, forecasting, trading analysis, and advanced Excel/data modelling, supported by strong capability across merchandising, planning, and analytics systems.
  • Influential communicator and trusted advisor, skilled at shaping product direction through insight‑led storytelling and building credibility with senior stakeholders across Buying, Merchandising, Design, and Retail.
  • Strong fashion sensibility with the ability to balance brand handwriting, trend direction, and commercial performance across diverse markets and customer profiles.
