Aramark UK is recruiting a Regional Catering Assistant to support all sites for Bassaleg School, NP10 8PL. As part of a fantastic team you will serve customers and provide excellent service, performing basic food preparation and general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.

Key responsibilities:

  • Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, and basic hot food.
  • Serving students and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Stocking and putting away deliveries.
  • Serving food and clearing tables, bins, and trays.
  • General cleaning back and front of house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Previous catering experience is essential.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Keenness to develop food preparation skills and culinary knowledge.
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Benefits & working hours:

  • Part time position, 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, term time only.
  • Shifts 7.30 am-3.30 pm.
  • Hourly rate £12.50.
