We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to work on a full-time basis at The Roseate Reading, a 5‑Luxury Boutique Hotel in Reading. The Reception Supervisor / Duty Manager will work 4 days on and 4 days off, ensuring excellent customer service for both business and leisure guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide constant customer service at the front desk
  • Check‑in and check‑out of guests, giving an excellent welcoming and departure experience
  • Answer telephone and email inquiries
  • Provide guests with information on the local area
  • Deal with customer comments in an efficient and professional manner
  • Cover Duty Management shift
  • Maximise sales

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Hotel Receptionist 4–5 is essential
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Friendly, enthusiastic approach
  • A proactive approach to service
  • Good industry awareness and ability to implement new standards
