MPA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Radiology Administration Team Lead on behalf of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust, based at Antrim Area Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare administrator to support the day to day running of a busy Radiology department while leading and supporting the administration team.
Main Duties
- Supervise and support the Radiology Administration team
- Manage staff rotas, annual leave and departmental cover
- Monitor radiology worklists and urgent reporting processes
- Support the use and maintenance of RIS and PACS systems
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data quality
- Liaise with GP practices, hospital departments and multidisciplinary teams
- Support staff training and induction processes
- Assist with service improvements and departmental audits
- Provide administrative support to senior Radiology staff and management teams
Essential Criteria
- Previous Radiology Administration experience
- Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends if required
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using RIS and PACS systems
- Previous experience within a hospital setting
- Knowledge of Radiology patient pathways and waiting list management
