QMS Auditor - ISO9001 Certified Lead Auditor Position: QMS Audit Location: Derby, UK Duration: 1 day Frequency: one shot
Responsibilities
- Perform examination of the Quality Management System (QMS), HSE, Ethics & Compliance, and related processes to ensure effectiveness and observe evidence of continuous improvement.
- Conduct audits based on ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9003, and AS9100 standards.
- Identify major findings, minor findings, and observations, and report them directly to the customer via web application.
- Initiate, review, and approve corrective action responses and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
- Perform audits in specialized process areas such as fabrication, machining, foundry, etc.
- Utilize structured root‑cause analysis tools and techniques such as 8D, Five Why’s, and DMAIC.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of at least five external audits in the past year to ISO 9001 or AS9100.
- Completion of a QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Experience in special processes such as fabrication, machining, or foundry.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
