An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Real Estate Disputes Associate to join a highly regarded international law firm in Manchester. This role offers the chance to work within a well-established and growing property litigation team, acting on a broad range of complex and high-value real estate disputes for an impressive client base. This is an ideal opportunity for a solicitor with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, ambitious, and collaborative environment.

You will join a highly respected Real Estate Disputes team that advises a diverse portfolio of clients, including landlords, tenants, developers, investors, corporate occupiers, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, and professional advisers. The team is recognised for handling complex and high profile property litigation matters, including cases that have progressed through the High Court and appellate courts. Alongside excellent quality work, you will benefit from close partner contact, structured mentoring, and genuine opportunities for long term career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of contentious property matters with appropriate supervision.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of landlord and tenant disputes.
  • Handle lease renewals, both contested and uncontested.
  • Manage dilapidations claims and disputes.
  • Advise on break notices, forfeiture, and possession proceedings.
  • Support clients with rent review disputes and property management issues.
  • Assist senior lawyers and partners on complex and high value litigation matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and networking activities.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a high performing and supportive team.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales.
  • Between 3 and 5 years' PQE gained within Real Estate Disputes or Property Litigation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of landlord and tenant law.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
