Property Data Intern

Are you currently studying towards a degree in Surveying, Real Estate, Property Management or Law? Looking for practical experience that will strengthen your CV and help shape your future career? Our Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to spend eight weeks working alongside experienced property professionals, gaining valuable insight into how a major public sector organisation manages its property portfolio and delivers regeneration across the region. You'll be part of our Property & Strategic Assets Team, supporting live projects, developing professional skills, and contributing to meaningful work that makes a difference across the West Midlands.

What you’ll be doing:

• Review leases, licences and other property documents to extract and record key information.
• Support the implementation of a new Property Asset Management System.
• Assist surveyors with a variety of property and asset management activities.
• Help maintain accurate property records, databases and documentation.
• Support meetings, workshops and team activities.
• Respond to routine enquiries from colleagues and stakeholders.
• Develop analytical, communication and problem solving skills through real work experience.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation while building your professional network.

What we’re looking for:

• Currently studying towards a degree in Surveying or Law.
• Curious, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Organised, accurate and detail focused.
• Comfortable working with information and analysing data.
• Strong communicators with good written and verbal skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to manage their time effectively and prioritise tasks.
