Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and project support to the NW London Maternity Networks, including the Maternal Medicine Network. You will play a key role in supporting clinical and leadership teams by coordinating meetings and events, preparing papers and minutes, managing correspondence, and supporting data collection and reporting. This post requires excellent organisational skills, confidence working independently, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for someone with strong IT skills, previous administrative experience, and a proactive, enthusiastic approach to teamwork and service improvement. Previous NHS or healthcare experience would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job:

  • Provide a highly efficient, professional and comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the NWL Maternity Networks (including the Maternal Medicine Network).
  • The post holder will support the teams with management of established and new projects/services, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when required for the team and the Networks.
  • The post holder will be expected to manage and prioritise their workload, liaising closely with the Lead Midwife for Maternal Medicine and other members of the Networks' leadership teams.
  • Be proactive and use initiative and judgement to deal with and prioritise issues that arise throughout the working week.

Person Specification / EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A-Levels / relevant vocational qualification or equivalent (for example, NVQ Level 3).

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Good standard of IT Skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Initiate improvements and look for opportunities to learn from others.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Able to work as a team: cooperate and engage with colleagues and partners.
  • Minute taking.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the Trust and organisation.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in an office administrative environment.
  • Previous NHS / healthcare work experience.
