We're looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a high profile annual lifecycle programme for a major building asset within a secure MOD environment. Reporting to the Asset Manager, you'll take full ownership of multiple facilities, building and M&E projects-ensuring they're delivered on time, on budget, and to exacting standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning end to end programme delivery across lifecycle projects
  • Managing risks, change control, governance and reporting in line with PFI obligations
  • Coordinating contractors, consultants and wider project teams
  • Leading technical input into variations, costings and impact assessments
  • Chairing project boards, progress reviews and stakeholder meetings
  • Ensuring compliance across H&S, CDM 2015, sustainability, quality and security
  • Supporting long term asset and lifecycle planning, including ISO 55001 objectives

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven project/programme asset (facilities) management experience in complex, high security or mission critical environments
  • Strong technical understanding of M&E systems with no single point of failure
  • Confident communicator who can lead teams, challenge constructively and influence outcomes
  • Comfortable running multiple workstreams under pressure, with tight governance and reporting

Nice to have:

  • Defence, healthcare or PFI experience
  • Hard FM / estates or lifecycle planning background
  • Project or Programme Management qualifications
  • Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer status

Essential:

  • Relevant Mechanical or Electrical engineering background (or equivalent experience)
  • Eligible for DV & STRAP security clearance
  • Flexible approach to working hours when projects demand it
