Location: South Yorkshire

We are currently recruiting for a Production Admin Support to join a growing team in South Yorkshire. This role plays a key part in supporting both production and QA functions by ensuring accurate and efficient administration, documentation control, and system updates across multiple departments. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with systems and data in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role Purpose

To provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the production and QA teams by managing documentation, maintaining systems (including StruMis), and ensuring all information is correctly recorded, tracked, and communicated across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate, manage, and maintain QA documentation
  • Refresh and compile production status information
  • Provide administrative support across multiple sites
  • File, scan, and organise documents efficiently
  • Scan and link material certificates
  • Issue material certificates to the QA team
  • Generate work orders within StruMis
  • Update StruMis with delivery receipts
  • Collate and issue material traceability reports
  • Prepare and issue welding documentation to the QA team
  • Assist other departments as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in administration and/or document control
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience using systems such as StruMis is highly advantageous
  • Strong numeracy and literacy (GCSE Maths & English grade C or above or equivalent)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Structural steel industry experience would be desirable but not essential
