The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily procurement activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider procurement team, you will ensure that materials, plant, and equipment are sourced efficiently to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Ordering: Sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials, plant, and equipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Supplier Coordination: Obtaining and comparing supplier quotations to drive cost-effective decisions and supporting supplier relationships.
- Logistics Management: Coordinating logistics to ensure the efficient movement of goods and services.
- Administration: Maintaining accurate procurement records, trackers, and reporting data, including raising purchase orders.
- Process Improvement: Assisting with cost control initiatives and identifying improvements to procurement workflows.
