Severn Trent is looking for a Process Technical Lead to set and maintain high standards in process and chemical engineering design for capital delivery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Set standards, templates, tools and processes to ensure our designs are technically and regulatory assured.
- Drive standardisation, consistency and quality across the Process/Chemical Engineering and Functional Safety disciplines within the design function.
- Lead hazard studies (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPAS) and embed risk management and safety principles into all aspects of design and operations.
- Explore opportunities to deploy tactical short term research and development and adopt new techniques and technologies to benefit the capital programme.
- Develop and mentor apprentices and engineers in their discipline throughout the design function to grow their skills, capabilities and qualifications.
- Accountable for Functional Safety determination within the Capital Design and Delivery function.
