Hours: Day Shift - Monday to Friday, Part Time 9:15am to 2:00pm - 20 hours per week

From our dairy farmers' cooperative through our modern factories and on to our multiple customers from all over the world, our Protected Designation of Origin Stilton is a British heritage brand to be truly proud of.

We are now seeking a number of Process Operators to join the Clawson family on a part-time basis, situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.
All training will be given; however, if you have experience of working in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment, this would be an advantage. You will work between 9:15 am and 2:00 pm, from Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week.
What you’ll do:
- Working as part of a small team, you will be operating the packing lines, taking our heritage brand cheeses such as Clawson Farm Stilton or Rutland Red, and preparing and then packing.
- You will be operating machinery, using new systems and ways of working, and you will be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues.

Timely and accurate cleaning of the line and end of day dismantling and cleaning of equipment, tools and work area where appropriate.
- Togetherness: Working as part of a small team, supporting your colleagues. Undertake relevant training as and when required. Show respect for colleagues, customers and the environment.
- Integrity: Be responsible for and ensure product quality is maintained in accordance with quality standards. Take personal responsibility for own actions and respectfully challenge others where appropriate. Behave in an honest, industrious and uncomplicated way.
What are we looking for?
- Industrious and able to work under pressure.
- Good level of fitness - able to lift weights of up to 20kg and push/pull weights of up to 1000kg, in accordance with manual handling training.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months).
- Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations.
- English speaking at basic level.
