Chargrill Restaurant is the beating heart of Marmalade, serving bold, flavour driven dishes centred on prime cuts of Scottish meat, grilled to order, and side dishes of fresh locally sourced ingredients, are matched to modern Scottish cooking techniques, while the hotel bar offers relaxed cocktails and local spirits.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the front of house team during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead by example in delivering warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to every guest.
- Welcome and engage with guests, resolving any queries or feedback confidently and positively.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain the highest standards of hospitality.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service and clear communication.
- Manage table planning, reservations, and service flow to optimise the guest experience.
- Uphold impeccable standards of presentation across the restaurant and bar areas.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and support the Manager in cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
