Our local British Red Cross shop offers volunteers a range of activities, from sorting stock and preparing donated items for sale to providing great customer service to donors and customers. The shop is a great place to learn new skills and share existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Checking the quality of donated items and preparing them for sale or recycling
- Ironing, cleaning, labelling and pricing items ready for sale
- Keeping the shop well organised and tidy
- General activities around the shop
- Creating exciting window displays
- Sorting donations for selling in the shop
Volunteer hours
A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum commitment or fixed hours; we only ask that you agree hours you can attend and inform us if they may change.
