Join us as our new Maintenance Assistant, where you'll help keep our holiday park looking its best and running safely. From general repairs to groundskeeping and landscaping, your hands-on work ensures our guests enjoy fantastic facilities and beautiful outdoor spaces – setting the scene for unforgettable memories.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out a variety of general maintenance and grounds duties, including mowing and strimming grass, painting, fencing, landscaping, slabbing and completing minor repairs.
- Keeping the park's outdoor areas tidy, safe, and attractive through tasks such as tree and hedge pruning, litter picking, jet washing, and pothole repairs.
- Effectively utilise the job management system to schedule, track, and complete owner jobs and fleet repairs promptly and to a high standard.
- Ensuring flower beds and planted areas are well presented and maintained, including weeding and planting new flowers.
- Ensuring bin bays are always kept clean and tidy.
- Responding to guest enquiries in a friendly and proactive manner, collaborating with the wider park teams to resolve any issues promptly.
- Performing pitch tidies and assisting with the moving and siting of holiday homes.
- Working independently and with integrity, completing assigned maintenance tasks to the highest standard while seeking support from your manager or wider team when needed.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with both groundskeeping and general maintenance work, including garden maintenance, landscaping, and practical repair tasks.
- The ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good manual dexterity with the ability to use or learn to use an array of hand tools and power tools.
- The flexibility to be able to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
