Sector: Manufacturing & Production
Salary: Β£33,000 to Β£37,500 depending on experience (working days only, with an option to work double days - 20% shift allowance).

Role Overview
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Quality Control Inspectors with mechanical inspection experience or apprenticeship trained/qualified by experience to join our expanding team.
In this role you will inspect parts and products, witness final product testing, and ensure all work meets high quality standards. You will also be willing to train towards non destructive evaluation qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined parts, sub assemblies and final assemblies against drawings and procedures.
- Inspect completed products, witness performance tests and review final documentation records.
- Inspect goods in activities, including positive material identification where required.
- Calibrate gauges and test equipment and carry out other duties appropriate to the role as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience using hand tools and CMM measuring techniques.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively and producing high quality work.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident preparing reports and inspection documentation, with the ability to elevate issues to the Senior Quality Control Manager.
- Competent using Word and Excel.
- Willing to train towards non destructive evaluation qualifications; PCN Lv12 in Visual, Liquid Penetrant or Welds would be advantageous but not essential.
