Responsibilities

  • Carry out line and roving inspections on electrical assemblies
  • Inspect piece parts, cable assemblies and completed units
  • Ensure products meet technical specifications and workmanship standards
  • Record and report non conformances in line with internal processes
  • Log inspection results within inspection records and MRP systems
  • Support root cause analysis and 'Right First Time' initiatives
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain quality output
  • Attend and contribute to production and quality meetings

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Electrical Quality Control Inspector or similar
  • Background in aerospace, defence or a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience inspecting electrical or cable assemblies
  • Familiar with IPC 610 / IPC 620 standards (ideally certified)
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to inspection
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
