As a Pool Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our pool area. You will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, ensuring water quality, and providing excellent customer service to guests. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Job Duties

  • Supervise pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests, responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Conduct regular checks on water quality, ensuring it meets company guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic pool environment, including the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering guest queries and assisting with any pool-related issues.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of pool chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Pool Supervisor or Manager promptly.
  • Attend relevant training sessions as required to stay updated on pool safety practices and company procedures.

Requirements

  • National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) is an advantage but not essential. Full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a pool environment is beneficial.
  • Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a check against the Children's Barred List.
