About the role
As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, and support the care home team in delivering engaging experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run activities for Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.
- Assist the Home Manager with organising fundraising events.
- Encourage residents to socialise and involve them in activities based on their interests and hobbies.
- Use kindness and consideration in all interactions with residents and colleagues.
- Identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
- Attend safeguarding training and seek appropriate advice or escalation if necessary.
Qualifications
- Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally experience in developing activity programmes.
- Strong planning, organisational and IT skills with effective time management.
- Ability to communicate kindly and considerately with residents and co-workers.
