We are recruiting for a Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Senior job, to join a well-established and successful accountancy practice based within easy reach of Hinckley, Nuneaton and Leicester. This role offers flexibility in both the level of responsibility and hours, with the firm happy to hire a part-time Personal Tax professional or hire for full-time hours in a role including Personal Tax and Accountancy work. The salary for this role entirely depends on experience and qualifications and the firm are open-minded on level, with any offer made, competitive, based on their internal salary scale.

The firm is looking for someone with proven experience in personal tax, ideally gained within an accountancy practice environment. Candidates may be ATT qualified, qualified by experience, or possess strong practical experience in personal tax compliance, working closely with the Tax Manager in a collaborative team. The position is primarily compliance-based, with responsibility for a portfolio of personal tax clients.

  • Preparation and submission of personal tax returns (approx. 400-450 annually)
  • Preparation of P11Ds
