To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer: Our client is a 43-year-old male living in Worcester WR2 who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 11 hours per week with administration support, domestic support around the home and support to access the local community & activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
  • Support accessing the local community
  • Support going on day trips
  • Support to go out on walks to enhance our client's mobility
  • Domestic duties
  • Support with administration tasks such as reading and locating files & folders and helping to organise these
  • Support to batch cook and freeze food so our client has healthier food readily available

Specific requirements: Someone with previous experience working with individuals with sight loss but is open to learning and enhancing their experiences. Must be confident to describe and provide relevant information when supporting our client.

Hours of work: 11 hours per week - Days & times to be discussed

Rate of pay: £13.01 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own car and appropriate insurance
  • Previous experience of working with individuals with sight loss
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good at building relationships
  • A good listener
