To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer: Our client is a 41-year-old male living in the WR5 area of Worcester who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 11 hours per week with community access and domestic support. Our client has Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia which cause mobility issues, and our client has ADHD, Autism and Learning Difficulties.

Main duties:

  • Social duties: Accessing the local community. Attend medical appointments if required. Support with hobbies such as swimming and walking.
  • Personal care: provide support when required by the client.
  • Domestic duties: support with grocery shopping, cooking, and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry. These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 11 hours per week. Days and times to be agreed at interview.

Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour.

Skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Essential: Confidentiality, Good communicator, A good listener, Good at building relationships.
  • Preferred: Driving licence, Car and appropriate insurance, Ability to support people with complex health care needs.

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
