We are recruiting for a Personal Advisor, based in the Children Leaving Care Service. Two full time Personal Advisor roles are available in the following locations: Burnley and Lancaster (fixed term – 10 months).

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Leaving Care Service to develop, deliver and continuously improve services for children, young people and their families and carers in Lancashire.
  • Partner with colleagues within Children's Social Care to ensure consistency of practice across the county and promote a supportive collaborative culture across the service.
  • Collaborate with children and young people, parents and carers, education, health and other agencies/professionals to provide effective support that improves outcomes.
  • Ensure young people leaving care are at the centre of all practice and processes.
  • Provide the right support to children and young people at the right time.
  • Use available resources efficiently to support the well being and development of children and young people leaving care.
