Key Responsibilities
- Support the police in custody suites and care for detainees.
- Assist detainees during their time in custody, working with other agencies to support and help with their rehabilitation.
- Escort detainees and make recorded observations as per their individual plan.
- Work with colleagues and the Police to deal with any detainee that may be a risk of harming themselves.
- Complete national Police Vetting prior to starting the role; you will be paid for the days you attend the ITC course.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous Police/Security/armed forces experience would be beneficial.
- Reasonable level of spoken and written English and basic numeracy.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
- Have a valid British passport or settled status.
- All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.
