Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in Wolverhampton for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their busy manufacturing team on a day shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and quality-driven individual who takes pride in ensuring products meet the highest standards before reaching the customer. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in maintaining quality and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed visual inspections of assembled components and finished products.
- Assess product quality on behalf of the end customer, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Identify, report, and upscale any defects or non-conformances to Cell Leaders.
- Accurately record inspection findings using the company's in-house computer system.
- Support the wider production team in maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Help ensure products are dispatched to customers with the highest level of quality assurance.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or similar quality control role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems for recording and reporting data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
