A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Legal Director or Partner to join a growing national real estate practice with a significant UK platform and an outstanding reputation across the living sector, development and investment markets. This role offers the opportunity to play a leading role in one of the UK's most dynamic real estate practices, working alongside recognised market leaders on some of the most significant transactions across Scotland and the wider UK. The team advises a diverse client base including developers, investors, funders, landowners, housebuilders and institutional clients on complex real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing real estate practice in Scotland.
- Advise on complex investment, development and regeneration projects.
- Work closely with clients across the living sector, including BTR, student accommodation, later living and healthcare.
- Support the structuring and delivery of large-scale development and investment vehicles, joint ventures and funding arrangements.
- Collaborate with specialists across corporate, finance, tax and construction disciplines on market-leading transactions.
- Play a key role in client development, team growth and the continued expansion of the Scottish practice.
About You
You will be an experienced Real Estate Partner, Legal Director or senior lawyer with a strong profile in the Scottish market and a proven track record of advising on complex property transactions. Commercially minded and highly client-focused, you will be recognised for your ability to build relationships, identify opportunities and deliver practical, solutions-driven advice. A following is welcomed but not essential for exceptional candidates with strong market credentials and growth ambitions.
