The Governors of St John's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years practitioner to join our expanding nursery provision from September 2026. St John's is a warm, welcoming and inclusive Catholic school where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially and spiritually. Due to the continued development of our Early Years provision, we are excited to offer extended 30 hour provision for our 2-year-old and 3-year-old nursery from September 2026. We are therefore looking for an excellent EYFS practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children in the earliest stages of their learning journey.

Essential Qualifications
- Recognised NVQ L3 qualification or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
- Recognised NVQ L4 qualification or equivalent
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status
- Experience of delivering phonics
- Paediatric First Aid (L3)
Essential Experience
- A deep understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
- Experience of adapting provision for children with SEND or additional needs
Desirable Experience
- Experience in the use of Wellcom, Makaton and/or Widgit
