CATERING MANAGER - PRIMARY SCHOOL
Responsibilities
- Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff.
- Overseeing menu development.
- Having full control of the catering operation including stock and food.
- Organising monthly promotions and added value events to help increase school uptake.
- Managing and improving all controllable costs.
- Maintaining school systems & procedures, and legislation.
- Managing other catering staff.
About you
We need someone who shares our vision for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience:
- OND or HND qualified (not essential but advantageous).
- Chef/Craft based experience using fresh ingredients.
- Experience providing a food service to approximately 150-200 customers with a view to increasing this take.
- Knowledge of current health and safety practices.
- Line management experience.
- Experience within a similar environment.

- 37 hours per week (8-4pm) - Working 39 weeks per year based around term time (hours can be negotiated).

Essential Qualifications and Experience
