Salary: £35,000 per annum (OTE £41,758 per annum including tronc)

Hours: 45 hours per week

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Bar Manager to lead our bar team. Our bars at THE PIG are unique! We smash, muddle, blend, shake and throw our way to making our guests the perfect drink. All of our cocktails are designed with the kitchen garden in mind. This provides the essential ingredients to infuse our locally sourced spirits. Our vodkas are infused by the herbs, flowers and berries from the kitchen garden, bacon is added to our bourbon and caramel to our rum. There is no limit to what we can do and this all comes from the creative minds of our bar team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the effective set up and operation of the bar areas.
  • Lead a team of skilled Bartenders and Bar Staff.
  • Actively work on the floor, behind the bar and support the entire bar team with their knowledge and development.
  • Ensure strong knowledge of beverages, from classic cocktails to spirits, beers, and wines.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and bring natural creativity to serving guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proactive attitude towards working on the floor and supporting staff.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages and current trends.
