Join our culinary team as a Food Service Assistant at Campsfield IRC in Kidlington OX5 1RE. This is a permanent, full-time position with a pay rate of £13.28/hour, working 40 hours per week on a rota of 3 days on/3 days off, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
What You'll Do:
- Provide high levels of service of food and/or beverages to customers, adhering to the standards set by the company.
- Perform cleaning and replenishment duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
- Ensure service area and/or service points are clean and stocked up.
- Food assembly and service in an efficient manner, which may include some light cooking.
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
- Work with minimal direction and as part of a team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally, previous experience within a catering environment.
- On the job training will be provided; must acquire basic food hygiene qualification within the first six months of employment.
- Must be 18+.
- Good understanding of written and spoken English.
- Good timekeeping.
- Lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work in the UK; must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
