We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Building Services Manager to join our team at the Oxford office to provide effective support for the construction projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside Estimators and Construction (pre and post) delivery teams to ensure a thorough and analytical review of drawings and specifications to support and ensure adherence to customer needs, relevant standards and current best practice.
  • Working closely with the Health & Safety Managers to ensure the highest standards of SHEQ are maintained throughout the business.
  • Analysing contractors' best value and variations for accuracy and value for money.
  • Supporting and reviewing programme and progress across the business projects.
  • Supporting project commissioning through programme, coordination and production.
  • Providing a point of liaison for Building Services Business Partners/supply chain.
  • Leading the improvement of Building Services knowledge and skillset throughout the business.

What you will bring:

  • A good understanding of building services from pre-construction, through installation and commissioning.
  • Understanding the impact of building services decisions on the wider construction project and being able to make a compelling argument to ensure the relevant teams make the right decisions.
  • Presentation skills to internal and external partners including a customer focus to promote positive and accurate building services across our business.

Experience:

  • Minimum degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • IEng or CEng, CIBSE membership.
  • Experience in a similar role at management level.
