We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Building Services Manager to join our team at the Oxford office to provide effective support for the construction projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Working alongside Estimators and Construction (pre and post) delivery teams to ensure a thorough and analytical review of drawings and specifications to support and ensure adherence to customer needs, relevant standards and current best practice.
- Working closely with the Health & Safety Managers to ensure the highest standards of SHEQ are maintained throughout the business.
- Analysing contractors' best value and variations for accuracy and value for money.
- Supporting and reviewing programme and progress across the business projects.
- Supporting project commissioning through programme, coordination and production.
- Providing a point of liaison for Building Services Business Partners/supply chain.
- Leading the improvement of Building Services knowledge and skillset throughout the business.
What you will bring:
- A good understanding of building services from pre-construction, through installation and commissioning.
- Understanding the impact of building services decisions on the wider construction project and being able to make a compelling argument to ensure the relevant teams make the right decisions.
- Presentation skills to internal and external partners including a customer focus to promote positive and accurate building services across our business.
Experience:
- Minimum degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- IEng or CEng, CIBSE membership.
- Experience in a similar role at management level.
