Unifyr is looking to expand our Operational team and Engineering with an individual with an interest in Reporting and Data Analysis and a drive for helping organizations get the most out of their data and technical resources to assess customer performance. As a BI Analyst in the Operational team, you will be responsible for identifying the key metrics and source data required to assess customer performance and build the necessary queries, reports, and dashboards for Operations and Service to use in their day to day operations. This specialized role requires solid knowledge of relational databases and administration of enterprise software platforms. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent small projects are essential. The role would suit a recent graduate with an IT, mathematics, statistics, or related discipline who is experienced with data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel and report visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc.
Functional Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations and Engineering team in identifying key metrics and KPIs to assess customer performance.
- Learn the available data sources and structures both within the Unifyr platform stack and other solutions such as Attio & Zendesk.
- Become proficient with Looker, a SaaS Business Intelligence platform.
- Build reports in Looker against the available data to meet the needs of the metrics and KPIs identified.
- Delivery of customer requested dashboards and reports.
- Support other Unifyrs in their reporting endeavors.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS from an accredited university in an IT or mathematics and statistics related discipline or equivalent business experience.
- Previous experience with RDBMS and SQL writing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- SQL: 1 year of experience or related coursework.
- Experience with data visualization and charting tools.
- A familiarity with web-based enterprise software.
- Sound judgment and a mature approach to work.
- Good organizational skills and project management.
- Self starter with the ability to think critically in order to solve problems or meet requirements.
- The ability to multi task and perform effectively under pressure.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Legally allowed to work in the country of residence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of SaaS and the associated infrastructures.
Work Conditions
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, typing, and working with electronic files.
- Ability to see information in print or electronically.
- Must be able to attend in person and virtual meetings.
- On call availability and periodic working outside of normal business hours.
