We are recruiting a full or part‑time Optometrist for an independent optical practice based in Bexhill‑on‑Sea, East Sussex.
Role
- Provide 30‑minute tests to patients of all ages.
- Conduct 13 tests a day, two 15‑minute short appointments and two 15‑minute catch‑up breaks.
- Perform contact‑lens work.
- Specialist clinics – glaucoma.
- Enjoy a nice, relaxed environment – not target driven.
- Work with OCT, Topcon Retinal Imaging, Optos Daytona, DNEye scanner, slit lamps and Volk instruments.
- Utilise Optix software.
- Receive excellent support from qualified dispensing opticians.
- Flexible working days from 09:00 to 17:15 (most Saturdays required).
Candidate
- Qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
- Newly qualified optometrists will be considered.
- Demonstrates a caring attitude towards patients.
- Enthusiastic and willing to input new ideas.
- Balances commercial and clinical duties.
Salary and Package
- Annual salary between £45,000 and £60,000.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- No work on Sundays or bank holidays.
- In‑house organised CET training.
